Dreams: The Good, and the Bad

I know, I know, I haven't posted in forever. Don't judge, ninth grade made me busy. Anyway, I was going through some of my stuff yesterday and I found my dream journal! I just wanted to share one of these dreams with you...

There were these kids that were all orphans. I don't remember any names or faces, only that there were four of them. They lived the typical orphan life, miserable and helpless. Then one day, a new girl, who's actually me :), came to the orphanage. She said she had run away from her last one because the caretaker was exceptionally cruel. She was welcomed into the orphanage. She stayed there for a while, and got to be really good friends with these four kids. After two months, Emily was playing with them and she all of a sudden collapsed. The kids were freaking out, they didn't know what to do! Then Emily just popped up, eyes wide, and said, "It's you guys." Out of the blue, she darted towards the youngest of the four, scooped her up, and ran out the door. The other three, outraged, sprinted out to follow her. She ran surprisingly fast for her age, and when Emily turned down a dark, scary-looking alleyway,, the kids faithfully did so as well. As soon as they turned, they stopped. Emily was standing right there, hand in hand with the little girl she had stolen, who was grinning ear to ear. Emily happily gave her back, but she said she had something to show them. "It's what's making her grin so much, if that helps." (Wait, sorry, halting the story for a bit! I just realized who the little girl looked like. Karaline!! Konnor's little sister! Now that I know that, I'm just going to start using her name.) Karaline looked up at them all and nodded enthusiastically. They cautiously agreed to see whatever it was, so Emily told them to follow her. She walked only a little ways down the alley, then stopped at a cardboard box. She hopped inside, whispered something, and them evaporated into a shower of sparkles. Karaline giggled, but everyone else wasn't as amused. Karaline hastily climbed into the box and said, "All you have to do is whisper, 'I want to go home.' while you're in the box." She smiled even bigger as she whispered those words and vanished, just like Emily had, leaving them all with snow-like sparks sprinkled on the ground in front of them. The others, not having much choice, followed suit. One by one they stepped into the box, only to be turned into silvery dust. When they had all done so, Emily and Karaline were waiting for them. They were in an alleyway just like the one they had left, but something was different. They could hear music and laughter coming from around the corner, not the traffic and yelling of Manhattan. They slowly looked, and saw that they had entered another world. Everything was so colorful and bright. They didn't know how it could've happened! "Come on!", Emily said. "I want to show you one of my favorite parts of this world!" (She actually used a name, but, sadly, I don't remember it.) She led them to a shop. They walked in and could immediately tell that it wasn't just a shop. It was a candy shop, and an amazing one at that! There were big machines and gizmos, the place was filled with a chocolatey aroma, but they saw no candy. Emily explained that you could make your own candy here, candy that could taste and do whatever you wanted it to. They all got to work and make epic things. The only one that I remembered was a soda that tasted like chocolate pie and if you opened up the bottle just a little bit, it would make a fizzy noise and propel you up in the air! Sadly, that's when I got woken up by a phone call from my mom. Boo...

Pretty great dream, right? Yeah, I liked it. It was a lot of fun and I reeeaaally didn't want to be woken up, but, alas, to no avail. *Sigh* Oh well, someday I might finish it. That would be nice.

Grand Concert

Yesterday was grand concert and it was AMAZIN'!!! I loved it and was soo glad that I could be in it this year instead of just watching. We sang a song in french and it was awesome! But now it's stuck in my head...for some reason, that song is very catchy! Vois sur ton chemiiiiiiiin!! My dad is so proud! ;) my "solo" went well, and we sounded good. Until the last song that is...we just keep scooooooooping and we can't sing in tune! ugh!! Frustrating!! But I'm pretty sure that it wasn't me, so there's nothing I can do about it. Anyway, my brother is kicking me off the computer, so this is a short post.

MV Choir Concert

Ok, the MV thing was one of my favorite shows that I have ever been to. EVER!!!!! It was sooooo much fun! I really believe that it didn't just make my day, it made my entire life!!! I loved that I got to go with my friends, I love that I had tons of friends in it, and I loved how amazing Cats and Phantom of the Opera were!!! :D :D :D Seriously, I got chills when the red light came on behind the curtain, and we could see the organ player!!! It was SOOOO COOOOL!!!! Ps, I also discovered how awesome an actor Lukas is!! Not only is he a good person, but he is amazing at shooting fireworks out of his fingertips!!! He is a powerful chicken!! Not a powerful GAY chicken, just a powerful chicken. It was awesome to watch all of my friends and their crazy cat costumes and hair, and to see how freaking awesomely weirdy they can be! It was really an awesome experience and I learned how important it really is to have energy on stage, because if you don't, you're a gay chicken. I have made a goal to be a POWERFUL gay chicken! Ps, that was the most hyper I've been in a loooooong time, and it felt good to go crazy! ;)

TWINS!!!!

AAAAHHHH!!!! The twins were born!! :D :D :D :D Ok, here's how it went down, the girl was born first and 6:07 and the boy and 6:33. They were both 4 lbs 10 oz and 18" long. Their names are Amanda and Andrew. I got to see Amanda through a window into the place where they are keeping her, and they are both in an incubator, but they will probably just be put into a special care nursery soon. They will be out of the hospital in about two weeks and then I will get to hold them for the first time! I can't wait!! I'm sure that everyone will get to hold them sooner or later, don't worry, you will all have your turn. They are both healthy and are doing great for premature twins. Mom is doing well too and will be out by Sunday. I can't wait until the twins get out of the there!! Then I will see them!! YAY!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D

Cast List

I just got the cast list for both of my plays in this past week. In one, I am an old lady who gets robbed, and in the other, I am a "seductress" as my friend Ashleigh calls it. Yeeeeaaah. This is going to be...what's the word? Interesting. But it's ok, because, if I fail, I won't fail alone!! *cough, cough, MARISSA* ;). But we will only fail in one of the plays. The other one will fail without our help. I just finished reading through the script of When in Rome (which is the one where I get robbed), and I definitely disagree with Mrs. Green's casting decision. It's not very often that I will do that, but Mrs. Green, geez, what was she thinking? She cast the guy who played the Prince in Cinderella as a main part again!! It's not like she had no one else to put in as Gladis (yeah, that's the character's name, and yes, it is very girly). This other guy that I know would do soooo well!!! Ugh, I don't even know what she was doing. Other than that little mix-up, everyone else can play their part for sure. I really hope that everyone will do super duper awesome in their part and somewhat cover up the failing that might be going on... But anyway, I'm really excited for both plays, because no matter how much they fail, they will both be tons of fun!!! SSSSOOOOOO EXCITED!!! :D :D :D

Auditions

OK, so I just got home from auditions, and I think they went really well! I know Marissa's went well, because she got into GR!!!! YAY MARISSA!!! I promise, you will love it!!! I know I do! Anyway, I remembered all the words and got the tune right, I was just a little shaky on some of the words. But, that always happens. That's what happens when I'm nervous. I know, I know, I've been doing this for 7 years. I shouldn't get nervous. Why in the world would I be nervous? But, you know what? I am a lot more self-conscious and nervous than anyone could ever guess. I get nervous really easily and when I do, I get really shaky and I feel like everyone can tell that my knees are knocking and my voice is really unstable. But I know that I shouldn't worry about stuff like that anymore, I just do. It always happens with everything. Not just auditions. Singing in church, coming into a new class for the first time (*cough, cough* bella voce), or anything in front of people! That's a little tidbit that I bet you all didn't know about me. I get nervous aaaaaall the time. Promise. Anyway, I think that's about it for now. Yup! I... believe... in the POWER OF GR! HUH!!!! (said like a man)

Guys and Dolls!!

AAAAHHHH!!!! I finally found out what my show is!!! I get to do... (pause for dramatic effect...) GUYS AND DOLLS!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHA!!!! YES!!!!! I am soooo excited! :D I really hope all of you guys can see it!!! It's going to be on April 30 and yeah... that's the extent of what I know.... well, I'm really excited, (if you couldn't tell by all of the exclamation points and capital letters) and I really am excited to audition and find out what part I get! I think being Adalaide would be cool, but she is a really girly girl and I have never played a girl before. Which I find to be very ironic. But no matter what part I get, I'm sooooo happy that I know what my show is and I am so excited to do this show with all of my friends!!! YAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!! :D :D :D Also, I apologize to anyone I called and freaked out about this to. I know that none of you really care, but I was just so excited!!! If you couldn't tell by my screaming... :D :D :D
