I know, I know, I haven't posted in forever. Don't judge, ninth grade made me busy. Anyway, I was going through some of my stuff yesterday and I found my dream journal! I just wanted to share one of these dreams with you...
There were these kids that were all orphans. I don't remember any names or faces, only that there were four of them. They lived the typical orphan life, miserable and helpless. Then one day, a new girl, who's actually me :), came to the orphanage. She said she had run away from her last one because the caretaker was exceptionally cruel. She was welcomed into the orphanage. She stayed there for a while, and got to be really good friends with these four kids. After two months, Emily was playing with them and she all of a sudden collapsed. The kids were freaking out, they didn't know what to do! Then Emily just popped up, eyes wide, and said, "It's you guys." Out of the blue, she darted towards the youngest of the four, scooped her up, and ran out the door. The other three, outraged, sprinted out to follow her. She ran surprisingly fast for her age, and when Emily turned down a dark, scary-looking alleyway,, the kids faithfully did so as well. As soon as they turned, they stopped. Emily was standing right there, hand in hand with the little girl she had stolen, who was grinning ear to ear. Emily happily gave her back, but she said she had something to show them. "It's what's making her grin so much, if that helps." (Wait, sorry, halting the story for a bit! I just realized who the little girl looked like. Karaline!! Konnor's little sister! Now that I know that, I'm just going to start using her name.) Karaline looked up at them all and nodded enthusiastically. They cautiously agreed to see whatever it was, so Emily told them to follow her. She walked only a little ways down the alley, then stopped at a cardboard box. She hopped inside, whispered something, and them evaporated into a shower of sparkles. Karaline giggled, but everyone else wasn't as amused. Karaline hastily climbed into the box and said, "All you have to do is whisper, 'I want to go home.' while you're in the box." She smiled even bigger as she whispered those words and vanished, just like Emily had, leaving them all with snow-like sparks sprinkled on the ground in front of them. The others, not having much choice, followed suit. One by one they stepped into the box, only to be turned into silvery dust. When they had all done so, Emily and Karaline were waiting for them. They were in an alleyway just like the one they had left, but something was different. They could hear music and laughter coming from around the corner, not the traffic and yelling of Manhattan. They slowly looked, and saw that they had entered another world. Everything was so colorful and bright. They didn't know how it could've happened! "Come on!", Emily said. "I want to show you one of my favorite parts of this world!" (She actually used a name, but, sadly, I don't remember it.) She led them to a shop. They walked in and could immediately tell that it wasn't just a shop. It was a candy shop, and an amazing one at that! There were big machines and gizmos, the place was filled with a chocolatey aroma, but they saw no candy. Emily explained that you could make your own candy here, candy that could taste and do whatever you wanted it to. They all got to work and make epic things. The only one that I remembered was a soda that tasted like chocolate pie and if you opened up the bottle just a little bit, it would make a fizzy noise and propel you up in the air! Sadly, that's when I got woken up by a phone call from my mom. Boo...
Pretty great dream, right? Yeah, I liked it. It was a lot of fun and I reeeaaally didn't want to be woken up, but, alas, to no avail. *Sigh* Oh well, someday I might finish it. That would be nice.
